Designing for Resilience in Your Own Holistic Home
This is a course on how to design and implement regenerative solutions for future scenarios.
We’ll reduce the ecological footprint of our homes and increase our resilience—both personally and as a community.
We’ll guide you as you explore
We share, like many others, an analytical and critical view of the systemic realities that surround us today. The depletion of resources, the macro pollution of our landscapes and our food, the energy precariousness, the social and economic vulnerability present in our societies and of course the effects of a chaotic climate and the scarcity of fossil fuels make us think that it is time to design “a possible future”.
In spite of everything, we are driven by a strong conviction of change, that we are capable of transforming our lives to know how to adapt to what we cannot change or to redesign what we can.
That’s why we’d like to share a course where you’ll learn how to apply permaculture to your life, your home, your work, and your community…
We’ll share different strategies, techniques, and solutions that you can adapt to your own situation. We’ll explore a different and creative way of looking at and thinking about problems and solving them. We’ll support and guide you as you develop the ability to design a more sustainable future for yourself, your family, your community, and ours…

A CDP that is as inclusive as possible
The course’s hybrid format will allow you to access the content from home and put it into practice in your life right away, without having to travel, and with the support of a community dedicated to learning, practice, and mutual support—even if it’s online. The “practical” component that many people are looking for takes place through live conversations and collaborative online design exercises in small groups, and we’ll also ask you to implement changes directly in your life and in your environment, which you’ll share on our forum. That’s why we say it’s a blended-learning program—it does include a practical component; we don’t just offer pre-recorded and written content on the website.
We offer 12 live virtual sessions, 12 modules with pre-recorded content and carefully selected resources so you can delve deeper into the topics that most interest you from our range of#SABERES, and 12 reflection and design exercises—individual and/or group— to gradually integrate what you’ve learned (Head, Hands, and Heart).
Live sessions will be held every second Thursday, with a break during the end-of-year holiday season.
The sessions will always take place from

10/06/22 – Introduction to Permaculture
10/20/22 – Ministry of Food Sovereignty
11/03/22 – A for Water

Over the past month, you’ve also been entitled to two half-hour group tutoring sessions with Juan Pedro or Aline to help you with your Final Design.
The exercises and reflections part will lead you to implement Permaculture in your daily life right away. We will propose actions to choose from so that you can immediately lower your ecological footprint and increase the positive impact on your surroundings (Hands).
We’ll provide an online space where you can share your observations, reflections, questions, and concerns with a community of people who are just as curious and passionate about life as you are. We’ll build a network of collaboration, because it’s through cooperation that we’ll overcome our challenges (Heart).
If you’re interested in guided practice and seeing our personalized solutions at our home, we offer 7 days (one day per letter of #SABERES) of in-person sessions toward the end of the online CDP (optional). We’ll welcome you at Can Cel, the headquarters and demonstration site of La Casa Integral (in La Vallalta, in the Alt Maresme region, Province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain), so you can learn and see some of the techniques we’ll have discussed in the course content (one week—7 days, 333 euros, accommodation and meals not included; dates in February—the “white week”—or August—August 12–19, 2023).
We are Aline and Juan Pedro, and throughout this course we’ll be sharing with you all the professional and life experience we’ve gained over the past decade—and beyond—in various fields.

Why choose this course?
Because it is an updated and necessary training for the times we live in.
Because it has a format that allows work and family conciliation, without having to be absent from your home for 2 or 3 weeks at a time.
Because it is given by people who live and practice permaculture on a daily basis designing, training and implementing solutions in varied contexts and with a great diversity of clientele.
Because Permaculture is considered (from the EU and from the UN) as one of the most complete disciplines to develop the regenerative solutions we need for the next decades and we need people capable of facing these challenges.
Because you will have unique and exclusive content that you won’t be able to find in any social network (the Johnnies’ videos are becoming famous).
Because we share with you our experience in the professionalization of Permaculture, so that you too can re-design your livelihood to be fair.
The Certificate, the basis
If you wish, you will have the option to earn the Permaculture Design Certificate (CDP). To do so, you’ll need to participate in one of the final design groups and have attended at least 80% of the course (live virtual sessions and having shared your reflections and chosen actions for each module).
Aline holds a Diploma in Permaculture (accredited by the Academy of Integral Permaculture at the 2018 European Convergence in Ireland), is a tutor at the Iberian Permaculture Academy, and is a Certified Educator with the British Permaculture Association.
Your certificate will then be internationally recognized and will serve as the foundation for enrolling in the
